Welcome to the Dry Ridge Inn. The Inn which has been a bed and breakfast country inn since 1986, offers you a gracious and elegant lodging choice on the north side of Asheville, NC.
Surrounded by towering hemlock trees, beautiful gardens, the Dry Ridge Inn is located on a quiet residential street in the small town of Weaverville just a 10 minute drive north of Asheville. Weaverville's first bed and breakfast inn, the Inn is ideal for those who enjoy a safe location within walking distance, restaurants, shops and art galleries, yet seek a peaceful, quiet, and romantic retreat.
Western North Carolina is a great place to spend a summer vacation, enjoy the fall foliage, or simply have a romantic, relaxing spring or winter getaway. The Dry Ridge Inn is the perfect place to meet your lodging needs.
Our historic three story home has eight rooms with private baths, all with gas fireplaces, all with Cable TV's and DVD Players and some can be combined to make suites for large families.
In many ways, time stands still in Weaverville. People gather on the street to discuss families, work, high school football and the change of seasons.
Weaverville is a place where the police jiggle doorknobs every evening to make sure shopkeepers remember to lock up. The walkers and joggers exchange "heys" as they pass at Lake Louise. Garden Club volunteers keep downtown plantings a burst of seasonal colors. Area farmers sell their produce, flowers and canned goods at a tailgate market downtown every Thursday in the warm months. Postal carriers deliver letters even when the address has been left off the envelope.
There are two parades a year to commemorate the events dearest to the hearts of Weaverville residents, Christmas and North Buncombe High School Homecoming. Weaverville is only six miles from downtown Asheville, but its pace and values are generation away.
